|自己紹介：||Updated 25/01/2009 - Today I launched my web site f2.8photographics and I would like to take this opportunity to thank my daughter for giving me the push I needed to make this happen, my wife for being by my side with a flask of tea on those cold mornings down at the port of Brisbane, and to all those on T.N who have given me the encouragement, support, & friendship over the last couple of years, without which this would never of happened, many thanks. |
Updated 9/11/2008 - Well the bags are packed and were ready to fly, (um that could be a good title for a song) anyway were heading of to Egypt for a month seeing some of the sites, and hopefully taking a few pictures, so there will be a shot break in my postings, but all being well we'll return on the 5th of December, many thanks for all the comments in the past and I'll see you all soon, stay safe, & love life :O)
I was born in Jersey Channel Islands and left in 1982 ending up in Australia, I have worked in Television Broadcasting now for over thirty years, but my passion is taking pictures especially nature......
If your coming past this site for the first time, please check out my favourite pictures, these images taken by some very talented photographers really do inspire me and their work is truly amazing.
I think the one thing I love about this site you can travel all over the world at the click of a mouse button, and see some incredible pictures from amazing places and meet some wonderful people.
Other inspirations, my dad Chief Photographer of the Jersey Evening Post for many years until he passed away, I guess something must have rubbed off, thanks Dad.
Ansel Adams a pioneer in landscape photography, who worked tirelessly to preserve the wilderness, and one of the first to promote photography as an art form.
"There are worlds of experience beyond the world of the aggressive man, beyond history, and beyond science. The moods and qualities of nature and the revelations of great art are equally difficult to define; we can grasp them only in the depths of our perceptive spirit".
and Peter Dombrovskis for the stunning work he痴 done on the Tasmanian wilderness.
I look forward to receiving your comments and critics both good and bad, points are accepted with thanks but are not necessary, and hopefully in turn I can impart some knowledge, enjoy:
