This is the same fungi I posted a few days ago under the title 'Natural Bird Bath?'
I have also updated the title and notes for that photo, which you can see Here
Today I was shooting mostly in manual mode, but it was almost impossible to set up a tripod here, and there was plenty of light,so I reverted to auto for this shot.I was reasonably pleased with the result.
Hope you like it too.
Thanks for looking
Steve

HI Steve,

I like the texture of the fungis cap and the 3D effect you have captured.

Nice composition.

Hi Steve

This is better in my opinion.
Great texture and enough DOF. 1/6 is prety good hand held.

Chris

I LOVE the shallow DOF here. It gives it a kind of 3D look :-)
The patterns on the mushroom are lovely!
Excellent composition.
Superb sharpness and detail.
Very good lighting too.
There's a slight blue colour cast I think but that's only a very small nit.

Really well done, Steve!!!

Cheers mate,
Joe

Hello Steve, perfect macro shot of this quite different mushroom.
Thanks for sharing.

Namastay Steve,
A lovely species of mushroom. Very nicely composed with sharp details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Splendida immagine, mi piace moltissimo la ripresa in luce naturale con i bellissimi colori del sottobosco, ottimi POV e composizione, buona nitidezza nonostante la poca luce. Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio
