|There are two forms of the Common Grackle the Bronzed Grackle and the Purple Grackle. This particular specimen is the Bronzed grackle, its bronze colored body contrasts very nicely with its glossy black-blue head.|
I was pleased with the way it posed on the branch. We can clearly see its colorful back and tail feathers as well as its iridescent blue and black head.
This shot was taken this past Saturday up at Magee Marsh. It was a very cold and windy day with intermittent rain showers. I will continue going back up to the marsh on Saturdays until the migration starts to slow down.

Hi Ron,this is a great shot! It turn the head in the right moment and way for the best pic. And the brighness on the bronze plumage is wonderful, despite the difficult light, very well done! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
une magnifique prise, bel arriﾃｨre plan avec des teintes agrﾃｩables et belle nettetﾃｩ sur l'oiseau.
The branches are framing well the bird. The point of view is showing the details of the Broze Grackle. It is clear and sharp. The good luminosity is bringing out the colours. Have a nice day.
