Blue Tit - Fact File (Parus caeruleus)
Status: Our commonest tit. Widely and abundantly distributed over most of Britain, absent only from bare uplands and outlying islands of the N/W.
Habitat: Deciduous and mixed woodland, gardens, parks and hedgerows. Nests in holes in trees and buildings and readily uses nest boxes. Frequent visitor to bird tables, especially where peanuts are provided.
Description: Small and colourful, the combination of blue and yellow making it easily identified. Compare with larger great tit. Sexes similar, although male usually brighter.

it is a wonderful photo... everything is perfect... really so nice... congratulations :))
Great capture, nice and sharp, good light even though there's a little shadow falling on the bird. Great to see your woods are turning green, hopefully ours will follow shortly ;-)
Great sharp image with good POV and DOF. Good composition.
Lovely shot of this pretty bird! Very clear, love the feather detail. Great shot of the way the feet curl around the branch. Isn't it lovely to see the new growth on the trees? Very good DOF! Well done!
Very nice shot, good details, pose and POV.
The shadow is a bit disturbing.
It's very cute, it's not an easy bird, very difficult to get close of it. You caught it here with a very special lighting
