Very nice black and white landscape view! Very good POV!
This really has to be a magnificent habitat for both vertebrated and invertebrates! I would love to hear about such great places all over the world...not only one here and one there...but unfortunately they are quite rare. You were right...our thw places really do have lots of things in common.
The picture is a beauty! You did well IMO to convert it in B&W. ThePOV and perspective are great, the details are excellent throughout and the mood - set by the monochrome and the wire-fence - is fantastic.
Very well done!
Bravo and TFS

Wire fence, tumbleweeks, lonely trees? It looks like Haaksbergerveen is the wild west of the Netherlands! Yee-haw pardner -- a real Dutch Montana. (Good job fakin' the mountains with those clouds!)
P.S. I like it.

An excellent landscape shot. I really like the composition and framing. You use of the fence running thru the frame looks great. I really like the conversion to B&W. It fits this photo perfectly.

This looks great in B&W. I've always been fond of black and white shots as I feel it draws attention to shapes and textures. Rather than allow the eye to be distracted by colour. It works well here as there is a lot of texture in the FG with the long grasses, the posts and even the wire. I'm glad yo pointed out the sheeps wool as I wondered what the bits on the wire were. Lovely composition

I don't know what I keep doing. I critiqued this hours ago and somehow it didn't register! Now let me remember what I said. I do like the grass clumps leading into the fence and the fence leading deep into the scene. It's a nice conversion to B & W. I think I might want the grass clumps a little brighter...I don't know why...I just like them..

good choice of b/w and a thoughtful shot of a typically flat dutch landscape! The fence is a great tool for adding alot of depth too.

Nice B+W picture, like an old picture! The composition is nice with the lines that the fence create and the good DOF.

Good lines in the composition!
Black and white adds a particular atmoshere, or rather enhance what is already present... predicting darker times to come!
Well composed, fine details!

Ik vind dit een mooi landschap en vooral het zwart/wit geeft het een aparte sfeer.
Het doet voor mij een beetje oudhollands aan. Heel mooi gedaan!

wonderful diagonal composition. The black and white works wonderful, good tonal range and very nice contrast. Excellent POV and great sharp details.

The BW converion here is good. I'd almost like to see more FG and less sky though so that FG fencepost would be entirely in the photo. The FG grasses are also a nice touch.
