Common name: bright wave
Idaea ochrata is a polyphagus geometrid moth. It overwintered as larva and it emerges in spring. It atacks many wild plants e.g. wild radishes etc.

A top quality image of this beautiful little moth. Wonderful clarity and perfectly exposed. I like the way the plant runs horizontally across the frame. Colors are nicely saturated and natural in appearance.

You have managed to capture the details of the wing patterns & the color despite the distance. A tighter crop could have helped.

Excellent BG. Well captured this Moth. Quite well details and perfect exposure. I would like to go for bit more tighter crop to get rid of BLANK SPACE and in such way you'll get more details too. I saw your WS picture but this is your main picture.
