Brief description

Moderately sized animal, this is the smallest wallaby. It is characterized by the colour of its neck which is brown to red. The sub specie rufrogiseus rufrogiseus has been identified and characterized by the Doctor Bennett: sometimes, this small wallaby is called 窶廝ennett窶冱 Wallaby窶. This wallaby is the most common and is often visible in the conservation parks as it is the case in 窶廰e Chテ「teau de Sauvage窶. In most of the cases when you see kangaroos outside from Australia or Tasmania, it is the 窶廝ennett窶冱 wallaby窶.

IUCN status is not on the 窶徨ed list窶, classified 窶. This Macropus is extremely prolific and there is no reason to assume that the population will decline in the coming years.

Hello Philippe,
Nice to see this family member of Kangaroo. It's a rare guest here in TN.Excellent details and exposure. Very nice exposure on white furs too. I like the way you placed this Wallaby. Good composition.
Thanks for sharing,
