Hi friends in TN.

This is the twin peaks of Bukit Chuping in Perlis.

It is discovered that the limestone hills (mogotes) running from north to central Perlis are not entirely of Chuping Formation. The last hill at the southernmost end (Bukit Ngulang) belongs to Setul Limestone Formation. The formational boundary between these hills, as implied by superficial fault-related features, is a fault contact; and is interpreted as a reliable signature of the Bok Bak fault. Based on similarities in hill-orientation, lithology and fossil contents, the Kodiang limestone mogotes in north Kedah are believed to be the continuation of the Chuping Limestone of central Perlis, but are now dispositioned by the Bok Bak fault.

Hi Jusni,

Beautiful capture of these nice twin peaks! They look so adorable.
The sharpness and POV are great, and the natural colors are very well shown. The peaks with their green rich colors compositely stand out well against the blue sky with nice cloudy pattern. It brings mood into the picture. I like the complete mirror reflection of the peaks in the muddy water in the FG. Very well seen!

thanks and regards,
Paras Bhalla

Hello Jusni,
A fine capture with a well-chosen title:))! These two limestone peaks are taken from a fine POV with a good perspective of the paddy field in the FG that also show a nice reflection of these peaks.
Thanks and have a good week,
Ivan
