|Wood Sandpiper (Tringa glareola)|
I have captured this 'Wood Sandpiper' at Marieval Bird Sanctuary, early in the morning.
It's a kind of solitary Sandpiper with short fine bill, brown back and longer yellowish legs. They migrate to Africa from subarctic wetlands. This bird is usually found on fresh water during migration and wintering. They mainly eat small insects.

Hi Srikumar, perfect capture of this wood sandpiper,a common species but always interesting to see, perfect sharpness on the body, not on legs because a too long time of exposure. Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano
