I have captured this picture of juvenile 'African Common Moorhen' (Gallinula chloropus) at Marieval Bird Sanctuary.
This bird likes marsh environment from where it can collect its watery plant as food. Here in this picture you could notice it is almost wrapped with tiny watery plants.
You could see shadow on bird's own body and it shows sun was almost above my head. In such situation I face bit difficulty due to long dark shadow. I was lucky this little one was coming towards me in search of food under water. To me sharp clear eye is an essential thing in bird photography and I have done my best. |

Hi Srikumar,no problem for you for the shadow on the face, the result is perfect and the sharpness too is very good despite the distance,i like the bright colors too. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano.

Hello Srikumar,
Looks like a fine painting to me, rich bright colors throughout the entire frame. Sharply focused and very cute facial expression. The lighting is perfect and you made good eye contact. Nice reflection. Well done!!

Ciao Srikumar, great capture with fascinating reflections, fantastic light, excellent clarity and wonderful colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
Hi Sriklumar,
I like the reflections on the water. Ther point of view is showing the details of the African Common Moorhen moving on the water. The good luminosity is giving nice tints to the colours. Have a nice day.
